Hotch Kekoa Family Page

Welcome to the Kekoa's Cyberspace World

The Kekoa Ohana (Family) would like to thank God for the use of this forum to share with the world their Love for our Lord Jesus Christ. The purpose of this Web page is to inform you of what the Kekoas are doing and more importantly what they are doing for the Lord!
Currently most of the family is in Hawaii, but read on to find out more!


The Head of the Ohana is Hotch who is enjoying his retirement.
He and Kristen moved out of their home in Kailua in January of 2006 and moved in with Kealani and Alex in Kaneohe.
He enjoys his grandchildren and appreciates the time they can spend with him.
He attends church at New Hope Christian Fellowship with his kids when he's not preaching somewhere.
He keeps busy with the annual Kaneohe Christmas Parade which he helps organize.
A highlite of this year 2006 is being able to visit with college classmates from Pasadena college.
They will enjoy each others company in Branson Missouri and take in a few shows.
Hotch is doing much better these days and enjoys puttering aroung the garage with his "Tools".
He got a Ping Pong Table for his birthday. Although the grandchildren must clear off the tools to play when they arrive!
He served as an "Angel" this past "Honolulu 2006 HIM Conference", he said he looks forward to doing it next year Lord willing!
Hotch has been writing sermons like crazy lately. I asked why he was writing so many sermons?
He said "You never can guess when they gonna ask you to preach next?"
And sure enough churches around the District have been asking him to fill the pulpit and even asked him to do revival services.
Hotch has even preached at the Mililani Missionary Church recently.
Hotch helps Kordell with weddings at the Kamehameha Schools Bishop Memorial Chapel.
It's getting to be just as busy as before retirement! He still comes home to sleep though!

Kristen who still lives with Hotch, is the youngest of Hotch's children is a Downs Syndrome young lady who enjoys life and her Dad and they are good buddies.
She currently attends the ARC program in Kailua and just loves it and in fact according to Hotch she can't wait to get up and get going each morning!
Eldest son Ken currently lives in Kaimuki with his wife Linda and son Keahi. He was attending the Nazarene Bible College in preparation for the Lord's Work, when he lived in Colorado Springs.
He currently is a member of the New Hope Christian Fellowship on Oahu.
He keeps busy in church ministries like "Front Row", a group which helps during the services on and backstage.
He also took on a new responsibilty lately in the area of Voluteer recruiting. By giving backstage tours during services so others can see how "They" can be involved in one of the Church's ministries.
He also keeps busy updating web sites for various churches around Hawaii and the Nation.
He also runs a Prayer Ministry called Prayerlink where folks from around the world send their Prayer requests in and he forwards them on to his Prayer Partners and devotes time in Prayer for those as well!
Ken will also devote a few days in April 2005 as an Angel alongside of Hotch at the Honolulu 2005 HIM Conference.
Ken and Linda got married this past August 19, 2006 at The Kamehameha Schools Bishop Memorial Chapel with Kordell and Dad "Hotch" presideing.
Ken, Linda and their son "Keahi" currently live in Kaimuki.
Ken currently works at the Kamehameha Schools in the Security Department as a Patrol Officer.
Linda is a stay at home Mom as she takes care of Keahi's special needs.

Kea(lani) is living on Oahu in Kaneohe on the North side of the island and teaches Music at Holomua Elementary School.
She and Alex were in a production of "Fiddler on the Roof" in 2003 which played at the Windward Community College Campus.
Kea is on the worship team at New Hope Christian Fellowship and has been in two recent Bank of Hawaii Commercials.

Alex who teaches sixth grade, at Aikahi Park Elementary School, and Kea are very involved at thier church New Hope
Kea is the Drama director and her team does very well at what they do!
Kordell is the Senior Chaplain at Kamehameha Schools. This was a Job our Mom Nancy had envisioned as the dream Job for Kordell.
We know she would be very "Proud" of him if she were with us today!
Kordell also teaches Christian Education at the Kamehameha Schools for Hawaiian Children.
He graduated with a Masters of Divinity in the Summer of(2000) And was ordained as an elder in the Church of the Nazarene in April (2000) by the Hawaii Pacific District.
On December 1st 2002 at a service at Bishop Memorial Chapel on the Kapalama campus of Kamehameha Schools. Kordell was installed as the Pastor by the United Churches of Christ and the Hawaiian Evangelical Churches.
The following day he was asked by Hawaii's First Woman Govenor Linda Lingle to participate in her inaugauration ceremony, by offering a prayer.
Hotch usually tells folks, "If you want to know what Kordell did today? Watch the six o'clock news!"
